Forest Stewardship ProgramAddresses the improvement and maintenance of timber, wildlife, soil and water, recreation, aesthetics, as well as forage resources on non-industrial private forest land through Forest Land Recovery, Forest Land Enhancement, and Cost Sharing Programs for Landowners. |

Rural Development ProgramDesigned to address the environmental, economic and social needs of rural communities by identifying, utilizing and conserving the natural resources of Florida’s rural communities. Forest, wildlife and coastal resources provide the tangible assets needed to initiate programs that will stimulate economic growth and social sustainability. |

Urban and Community Forestry Program (U&CF)Encourages city governments and local residents to actively manage the trees in their communities. The Division offers U&CF grants to local governments and groups to help them accomplish this goal, and either provides or directs them to sources of technical assistance. These entities also receive recognition of their efforts through the Tree City USA Program, and encouragement to promote additional efforts by recognizing Florida Arbor Day each year. |

Florida Urban Forestry Hurricane Recovery ProgramProvides help to rural and urban landowners and communities by providing financial assistance for reforestation, mitigation, remediation, and educational programs. |

The Division of Forestry produces over 33.5 million bareroot pine seedlings at its Andrews Nursery located in Chiefland, Florida. These seedlings are available for sale to non-industrial private landowners, corporate landowners and state and federal agencies to support Florida's reforestation needs.Andrews Nursery also grows a combined total of over 4 million containerized pine seedlings and containerized wiregrass. These plants are available for planting on State Forests and other properties owned or managed by the State of Florida.
